At the Belvedere del Malvento, discovering the Loricate Pines of Pollino
An easy route suitable for everyone to the famous 'Belvedere del Malvento,' starting from Piano Ruggio, near the geo-site sinkhole, with a guided walk through the beech forests, passing by the Beech of the 6 Sisters. The final destination is the Belvedere, offering a panoramic view of the Loricate Pines of Serra del Prete, the Piana di Morano, the Piana di Sibari, and the mountains of Sila and Orsomarso.

A simple route suitable for all, leading to the famous "Belvedere del Malvento," starting from Piano Ruggio, near the sinkhole geo-site. The guided path takes you through the beech forests, passing by the Faggio delle 6 Sorelle, with the final destination at the Belvedere offering panoramic views of the loricate pines at Serra del Prete, the Morano Plain, the Sibari Plain, and the Sila and Orsomarso mountains.

Towards Pollinello (1,820 m) … among springs and centuries-old Loricate Pines
One of the few excursions accessible to everyone, allowing you to get up close to some of the Loricate Pines of Mount Pollino. The journey starts from Colle Impiso at 1,560 m above sea level, gradually ascending through plateaus and beech forests to reach the famous 'Fonte di Spezzavummola.' From there, the route continues to Piano Gaudolino and the beech forest, leading to the panoramic summit of Pollinello, which overlooks the entire Coscile Valley, stretching to the Gulf of Sibari, and finishing with views of the Sila mountains and the Cozzo del Pellegrino massif, located in the southwestern part of the Pollino Park.

One of the few hikes accessible to all that allows you to see up close some of the loricate pines of Mount Pollino. Starting from Colle Impiso at 1,560 m above sea level, the route gradually ascends through plateaus and beech forests to reach the famous "Fonte di Spezzavummola." From there, the path continues to Piano Gaudolino and the beech woods, leading to the panoramic summit of Pollinello, which overlooks the entire Coscile Valley, stretching to the Gulf of Sibari, and offering views of the Sila mountains and the Cozzo del Pellegrino massif, the south-western part of the Pollino National Park.

A classic and fascinating excursion to one of the most beautiful and enchanting places in the Pollino National Park, 'The Garden of the Gods,' an exceptional forest of Loricate Pines at an altitude of 2,000 m. The journey begins at Colle Impiso at 1,560 m, passing through splendid beech forests, fresh springs, and plateaus surrounded by the highest peaks of the Pollino, with the final destination at the Garden of the Gods, offering a spectacular view of the Upper Raganello Valley.
